This was again a year of less reading. I move from Beckman Life Sciences to IDT in April. A lot of my energy was put into learning a new company and a new scientific domain (genomics). The textbok Genetics and Genomics in Medicine was a great introduction.
Michelle and I divorced this year. I spent a lot of time on introspection. Atlas of the Heart gave me a better vocabulary for understanding how I felt. The books Quit and How to Decide helped me chart a path for the future.
While the list looks short, it took me most of the year to get through The Expanse. It’s an enjoyable series although the later books didn’t hold me like the first few did.
